How do I submit an application?

Applications are accepted through our new online applications portal. Applicants will need to create an account to apply. Read on for more information about how to do that.

Applications are no longer accepted in PDF or PowerPoint formats. The application form will require entrants to enter answers to questions on the award criteria pages in the brochure.

How do I know if my application is eligible?

How do I create an account?

Click here to find the "create account" form. Fill in your name, contact information, and email and password, and you're set! When you sign up, you'll be logged in automatically and can start creating your entries right away.

Make sure to upload your logo to your account profile. CFAA will use the logo provided to promote the winners and finalists.

Where do I go to submit entries?

When you first log into your account , you'll see a "Start a new entry" form. Simply choose which category you want to enter, give your entry a title, and click the "Start" button. In the form that loads, you will find all the information you need in order to submit an entry to your selected category. You don't have to complete your entry all in one sitting. Hit the "Save" button any time, and come back to it later.

When you're finished, tap the "Send to judges" button at the bottom of the entry form.

Can I make changes to my entry after I've submitted it?

Yes, you can continue to edit your entries until the submission deadline. After the deadline, you will be able to view your entries, but the editing controls will be disabled.

Do I need any kind of special software to make my entries?

This awards system is entirely web-based. You can create your entries on your phone, iPad, laptop, or any computer. All you need is a browser.

What are some best practices or tips for applying for the CFAA awards?

  • Update your awards profile and upload a high-quality logo.
  • We suggest that you prepare your answers ahead of time in a word processing file and save that text. For each award, questions appear in the same order as on the criteria page in the brochure. 
  • Long answer questions are limited to 400 words.
  • Please note the maximum number of pictures and attachments that are allowed, since that varies by category. Check the criteria page for the award category you are entering. 
  • Please ensure that the pictures you are submitting are of sufficient quality to be published. However, the maximum upload size of each file (i.e. photos) is 16MB.
